Health Care Education Campaign

CAPI will be embarking on a Healthcare Education campaign in collaboration with SEARAC and other community programs across five states where Southeast Asian communities are concentrated.

CAPI will promote the New Health Reform campaign for the next three years. Specifically, CAPI will:

• Organize Communities to influence MN state implementation of the new health care law regarding:
• Culturally Competent Care
• Workforce Development
• Data Collection
• Access to Preventative and Primary Care
• Educate Southeast Asian and East African communities about how:
• The new health care law will impact their access to health care insurance and public programs
• Community Members can participate in the state implementation process.

This campaign allows CAPI to:
• Promote Health Equity
• Build staff’s capacity to work with communities to promote public opinion
