Due to concern for the health and safety of our staff, the community we serve, and our partners, CAPI will largely be closed to the public. You may make an appointment to meet with a staff member at our location in Brooklyn Center or East Lake Street. Masks are required inside both buildings regardless of vaccination status. Below please find a list of staff, services, and updated hours/information for our food shelf. Staff will be checking voicemail, emails, and having calls forwarded. If you’re not sure who to call, please call the CAPI main line at 612-767-3670.

Food Shelf
The CAPI food shelf is open Tuesdays from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm; and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm; 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. The food shelf is closed from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm for lunch.
CAPI is no longer providing curbside pickup and is now open to clients to choose their own items. Those needing food assistance will need to schedule an appointment by calling 612-756-8958 or email Will Lucker our Program Referral/Intake Coordinator to enroll or re-enroll in the food shelf program.
