At CAPI’s Food Shelf, volunteers do more than stock shelves—they help ensure over 130 families each week have nourishing and culturally rich meals to share at their tables.

As a volunteer, you might:

• Keep our shelves full with fresh, nutritious, and culturally-specific foods by unloading deliveries and restocking.

• Assemble rice and produce bags to make healthy eating easier.

• Walk alongside participants as they shop, weigh their food, and load it into their cars.

• Organize and refresh the space so we’re ready to serve again tomorrow.

Volunteers must be 16+ to serve without a guardian.

We’re happy to verify service hours—please give staff at least 24 hours’ notice if you need a letter in addition to a signature.
