Thank you for joining us for the celebration,
and we’ll see you next year!
For 40 years CAPI has provided critical resources to immigrants, refugees, and underserved communities of color in the Twin Cities.
From a small culturally-specific food shelf in 1982 to an organization that now serves over 10,000 individuals annually, CAPI has grown along with our communities. Join us on Thursday, September 29 at Quincy Hall as we take a look back on our beginnings and vision cast for the future of CAPI.
Hear from participants, a panel of guest speakers, and enjoy dinner, drinks, live entertainment, and a silent auction!
Gather with us and celebrate a milestone in CAPI’s history!

CAPI’s 40th Anniversary
Hear from some of our staff members and see highlights of CAPI’s work and impact in our 40th-anniversary video. It provides a glimpse into why our organization is important to the community and is a necessary resource for our participants.
Silent Auction
Thanks to several businesses and organizations in the Twin Cities, we were able to provide exciting items and experiences for in-person and virtual attendees to bid on. All proceeds from the auction help: put food on tables, people find jobs, participants access culturally-specific mental health programming, and so much more.
A few of the auction items included:
- A backyard concert from MN musician Jeremy Messersmith for up to 30 of your friends
- 5-course dinner from Chef Carline Bengsston of Dine4Dinners
- Brewery tour and beer for 4 from Waldmann Brewery
- Tickets to a Theater Mu production
and more!
