Save the Date for September 28, 2023, to Give and Grow!
For over 40 years CAPI has provided critical resources to immigrants, refugees, and underserved communities of color in the Twin Cities.
From a small culturally-specific food shelf in 1982 to an organization that now serves over 10,000 individuals annually, CAPI has grown along with our communities. Join us on Thursday, September 28 at Quincy Hall as we uplift the communities that we work with and the work done together.
Hear from a panel of CAPI staff, and enjoy dinner, drinks, live entertainment, and a silent auction!
Gather with us and celebrate!

CAPI’s 40th Anniversary
Hear from some of our staff members and see highlights of CAPI’s work and impact in our 40th-anniversary video from last year’s event. It provides a glimpse into why our organization is important to the community and is a necessary resource for our participants.
Silent Auction
Thanks to several businesses and organizations in the Twin Cities, we are able to provide exciting items and experiences for in-person and virtual attendees to bid on. All proceeds from the auction help: put food on tables, people find jobs, participants access culturally-specific mental health programming, and so much more.
A few of the auction items included:
- A 3-night stay at the Pincushion Mountain Haus in Grand Marais for up to 12 people.
- Limited edition large-scale silkscreen prints from artists Luis Fitch
- A natural snow ski pass from the Loppet Foundation
- 2 tickets to see Trevor Noah on November 11
and more!
